The Memory of Stones is an experimental short documentary portrait of Antonio, an elderly resident of Pettorano sul Gizio, a small mountain village in Italy. Over two days, he leads the camera through the village and his family home, sharing local stories and memories of migration, war and a place that has changed around him. What begins as observation gradually becomes a reflection on aging, memory and the connection between people, history and landscape.
