Yanick Lampe is an editor and filmmaker currently based in Freiburg, Germany, relocating to Cologne in November 2026.
Starting out in cinematography and post-production, his work has increasingly moved toward documentary and narrative storytelling. He approaches editing as a form of directing in the cutting room, using rhythm, observation and visual structure to shape meaning.
Alongside his own films, he has contributed to productions including the Opéra national de Paris, Deutsche Welle and the series Keltenburg.
